Senior Data Security Analyst |
| Job Description |
-Assist in the development, maintenance and support of the Bank’s data security requirements and other components of the Information Security Program to ensure the integrity, confidentiality and availability of the Bank’s information assets.
-Plan and review assignments using a planning memorandum and risk & control assessment matrix to ensure risks are correctly identified.
-Identify major risk areas and assess whether the controls in place are sufficient to mitigate risk.
-Perform analysis and technical tasks involving assignment and coordination of measures to provide information assurance, event detection and rapid response across various environments of the enterprise.
-Monitor and evaluate the integration of information security solutions including security architectures, firewall administration, and implementation of new security products.
-Review system(s) log activity, and user activity related to access authorization and utilization.
-Investigate, document and report any actual or potential information security violation or inappropriate computer usage.
-Manage forensic analysis, cyber-crime investigation, and incident emergency response and investigations.
-Collect metrics information to measure and report the effectiveness of security solutions.
-Manage the development of the organization’s information security policies & procedures and security awareness activity.
-Develop and manage programs to monitor compliance with PCI DSS requirements and regulatory/industry requirements |
| Desired Profile |
-Bachelor’s degree from a recognized University in Computer or Telecommunication Engineering.
-Certification in a related field i.e. CISSP, CISM, CEH, CPT etc.
-Awareness and knowledge of internal auditing principles.
-Minimum 5 years of relevant IT and information security experience.
-Extensive knowledge of data security and access control systems, encryption, communication systems, networks and their interrelationships.
-Knowledge of application systems, network architecture, database, O/S security (including UNIX, Solaris, Linux and Windows) multiple platforms, web-based systems, Anti-virus, PKI, Active directory.
-Knowledge of information protection standards, guidelines and applied procedures.
-Technical, analytical and communications skills.
